Founded by Dr. Carrol McLaughlin in 1978, HarpFusion has become one of the most creative and exciting ensembles on the international concert scene. Named for its unique fusion of many different styles and cultures, this highly innovative harp ensemble has gained international respect for its inspiring performances in Russia, Czech Republic, Japan, Indonesia, Puerto Rico, China, Korea, Switzerland, Spain, and Brazil.
HarpFusion is renowned for performing arrangements and original compositions by group members, who are all students of the University of Arizona. Ensemble repertoire includes classical, jazz, new age, and folk music, as well as collaborations with FluteFinity and interdisciplinary projects. HarpFusion is also available for performances and educational presentations within the community.

HarpFusion is available for performances and educational presentations within the Tucson community as well as domestic and international tours. Recent tours within Arizona include engagements for the Gold Canyon Arts Council and the Gila Valley Arts Council, for which we provided several educational workshops and concerts.
We are able to accommodate multiple educational events within a day by dividing our group into soloists and/or duos and tailoring each presentation for a variety of venues, including schools, libraries, senior centers, and other community facilities. We welcome the opportunity to create a meaningful and memorable experience for your organization.

About Our Logo
The HarpFusion logo was designed in 2018 by alumna, Audrey Cadogan, to represent elements of the Sonoran desert, the strings of the harp, and the colors of our group. We have included both the vintage blue of HarpFusion, representing our history and the work of Dr. Carrol McLaughlin, and a new royal blue to embrace new pathways for HarpFusion.
